I'm a creative visual story teller born in Canada, raised in Croatia and currently living in Dubai with my Pharaoh hubby.
I have a Masters Degree in Business Psychology, worked in one of the leading global multinationals for almost a decade, and although I enjoyed my time in the corporate world, I’ve always been drawn to my camera.
I bought my first DSLR back in 2011 and we have been inseparable since then. With no formal training, only a creative spark, a good eye and love for creating timeless moments, I immediately enrolled in a basic photography course in Gulf Photo Plus in Dubai in order to get more familiar with all the wonderful features of my new camera. I created my very first photo journal that same year when I took a ‘Photo Walk’ workshop in the old part of Dubai. It was clear there and then that I had an affinity for freezing moments in time with people on the streets versus capturing buildings or nature. And while I do enjoy the spectrum of challenges and genres photography provides, I definitely have a soft spot for portraiture and couples - I'm always intrigued by human nature, and the bonds between people. Natural light is my key tool, there is nothing sweeter than the rays of the sun on the object I'm photographing.
As a photographer I promise to capture timeless images with emotion and a personal touch, telling a story that keeps you engaged.
Some of my very first photos...
